I am interested in Orbit Homes builder. They operate in Victoria and Queensland. I have seen builder reviews and product reviews (builders in Melbourne and Brisbane). As with other builders majority of opinions are negative. But there are also very good ones too. I presume if the builder (or their subcontractors) messed up then clients are more willing to put negative information. Are there any positive or neutral opinions? I am asking because they offered a good deal to investors (including me).

Orbit Homes has very good designs and good quality. They do have some problem with timing their work. There is plenty to choose from their website http://www.orbithomes.com.au/. As for time penalties try to negotiate a bit higher than $15.
I found a very good and objective home builders resource, It mentioned Orbit Homes ( http://www.homebuildersresources.com.au/orbit-homes-australia.php ). There are some articles about other builders in Australia ( http://www.homebuildersresources.com.au ). What do you think? Is it reliable?

Orbit Homes gained some reputation. But it is not a building giant. Some good website reviews also found them to be of interest. I found http://www.website-marketing-australia.com/orbithomesbuilders-website.php. It is not a complete resource for buyers but it has good value.

Orbit Homes has great quality and design. I am currently building with Orbit Homes. However, they seem to be very busy or not enough man-power. Things are a bit slow. Administration seem to be reachable but very weak.
Orbit Homes Ashcroft is a perfect design for small or pensioners family. It is under 150K home with all features. The best value for money
Orbit Homes Deco was my favourite choice. It is the same standard as Ashcroft but nicer design. Similar Houses in other builders cost fortune
Orbit Homes has great designs and good price range. I notice however that they have far too many orders for their working capacity
Orbit Homes is building next door. House looks huge. I spoke with neighbours and they said that they have got the best price for the size. Orbit Homes has good selection. I have noticed that Orbit Homes guys rush things. Because of good prices they have more clients (but the same number of their staff).
Orbit Homes in Queensland has better designs than Orbit Homes in Melbourne. Facade designs in Queensland are nicer. I do not understand why Melbourne cannot get the same design

Orbit Homes Alcott 21MF is a very good house. They have done a great job. 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms – good and functional. There are 2 of us so this is more than needed.

yeah, that is preciselt my point. Orbit Homes Alcott 21MF is in QU?EENSLAND – NOT MELBOURNE. I do not understand why those designs are not available down here.
Orbit Homes Lincoln 37 is my definite choice. It is a double storey house. Has all facilities. In this calss of buildings it is the best value for money among other builders.
Orbit Homes Lincoln 37 is a beauty. I love it. I have few issues during construction but it is all fixed up. I built it 1 year ago. I love functionality, space and even the outside design.
Orbit Homes Galleria 29 and Lincoln 37 are both impressive. I am not sure which one to go for. Does anyone have an experience with either?
Orbit homes Lincoln 37 has been more popular. I have seen them aroun my area. I have not seen Galleria 29. I presume clients prefer the former than latter.
I think Orbit Homes has only these 2 double storey houses to market. I agree that Orbit Homes has a good selection and prices but for single storey houses. For double storey the selection is limited.
